Based on the success of 11 schools in the East End of Houston who participated in a community-wide GreenSchools project, Project Learning Tree’s Greening Communities with PLT GreenSchools guide offers advice for schools interested in joining together on projects that benefit their whole community. It includes advice for starting tree‐planting and gardening projects, as well as tips for engaging diverse stakeholders, establishing local partnerships, and assembling a community advisory team.
